Well I don’t know what they will tell you, but I do know, from years of studying the most successful people, that there is one single most important factor that contributes to more of their success than any other factors combined, and anyone can use it to achieve his success no matter who he is, or what his current conditions are.

Listen Up!

The single most important factor for successful people is simply feeling good.

If success is really that simple, then why are so many people struggling?

That is a good question. We have been taught that in order to achieve something, we have to suffer first. It has been said, no pain no gain. But I tell you this …That is ABSOLUTELY false.

Look at the life of a highly successful person. Is he suffering, is he struggling? If he is, then I can assure you that he is not successful in the area that he is struggling against. He may look successful in a certain area, but very unsuccessful in others. Have you ever seen a multimillionaire who is suffering from bad health? Why does that happen? He has all the money he needs to hire the best doctors in the world, why is he still suffering from ill health?

Here is what‘s really happening…

He is highly successful financially, because he feels really good about himself in the financial area; he is unsuccessful physically, because he feels bad about his health.

The point I want to make is this. If you notice someone who is extremely successful in one area, then you will be certain to notice he feels great about himself in that area. He has been conditioned to feel good in that area, just like most people have been conditioned to struggle in some areas of life.

If you are still not convinced, perhaps you can think of it this way. How do you define success? It is certainly not just about setting a goal and achieving it. That is important, but it’s only part of the story. Success in my definition and in most successful people’s definition is about enjoying a state of well-being in every moment of our existence. It all comes down to a state of feeling good. You may not agree with me, you may consider success as having a million dollars in your bank account; you may consider success as being famous as a public figure. Then let me ask you a question: “why do you want a million dollars?”, or “why do you want to be a famous person?” If you think hard about this question, you will find that all you want is simply to feel good.

Here is the big mistake that most people make. They think they are going to be happy once they get that million dollars, they think they will be happy once they become a superstar. But when they reach that goal, they feel a moment of excitement, and finally they realize that that is all there is. And then they set a higher goal, and wish they will be happy once they reach that goal. They will never be happy as long as they don’t change their approach.

Then what is the right approach?

Since your ultimate goal is to feel good, then why not choose to feel good right now? How do you do that? It is simply by choosing to feel good at this moment. It is as simple as that. People have spent great amounts of Money searching for techniques and strategies to make them successful, but they forget that the most powerful tool is the most fundamental; it is simply feeling good.

You may say “it is easier said than done, how can I feel good if I am broke?” If that is how you think, here is my answer to you… There are only two kinds of feeling we experience every day. One is feeling good, and one is feeling bad.

Good feelings send a powerful signal to the universe, and through the law of attraction, you will attract people, circumstances and events to match your state of feeling good. Bad feelings also send a powerful signal to the universe to bring back people, circumstances and events to match your state of feeling bad.

Have you seen that?

Feelings are the causes, conditions are the effects.

You cannot get away from being broke if you are feeling bad. You only reinforce the cause.

So begin to feel good one way or another, no matter what conditions you are in.

At the moment you choose to feel good, amazing things will happen.

If you don’t believe me, try it. You have nothing to lose.

Life TransformationSo you’re looking to transform your life into something ‘better’ than it seems to be right now…

You’ve now reached the point where you’re seeking to work with what’s popularly called the ‘Law of Attraction’ to attract the experiences, circumstances, people, etc. that you associate with the ‘new and improved’ image of your life.

You’re seeking to learn how to actually bring about this transformation.

Well, here’s the catch:

What we call ‘transformation’ is actually a process of deprogramming. It’s not so much learning as it is unlearning.

The thing is that you’ve always been a unique aspect of the ‘infinite awareness’ that connects us all. It’s just that all kinds of programming and conditioning have disconnected most of us from that understanding.

Actually, the way out is to remove the dirt that lies between you and the daylight. Most people have encased themselves in limited beliefs, which manifest energetically in dense electromagnetic fields that basically ‘block your vision’ from the daylight.

You’re still ‘infinite awareness’ in your core, and you still ‘attract’ your experiences.

But once you make the conscious decision that you want to break out and bring about a transformation and change your life, the experiences you attract are tailored to break down those energetic walls around you that block your vision.

As soon as the walls of limitation tumble down, more of your natural ‘awareness’ can flow through you, and your ‘reality’ will start to change as your programmed perceptions are rewritten.

An important part of this process is to listen to your intuition instead of just rationalizing everything based on your conditioned beliefs. There’s this ‘intuitively knowing’ voice inside of you that knows what’s right for you in general, rather than what you might rationally think is right for you at the time.

This is something we’ve been talking about in previous articles…

True enough, the process of ‘transformation’ will bring challenges. But if you stick with your intuition through all of these experiences (nice and less pleasant), after a while your life changes BECAUSE OF what you’ve experienced going through these challenges, NOT DESPITE OF it.

This is a profound realization, and this will also be something we’ll get into in our next article.

But many people give up entirely, degrading this whole concept of ‘attraction’ as mumbo-jumbo the moment the going gets a little tough.

“This wasn’t what I wanted to attract! This doesn’t work!”

Well, actually it does. You’re attracting the very experiences designed to break through whatever is keeping you from experiencing your desired reality.

As mentioned, we’ll get into more details of this in the next article.

But for now, it’s first important to realize once again that understanding the power of attention is the first thing you need and absolutely vital to regaining control of your life experience.

“Energy flows where attention goes.”

There’s this parable of a Cherokee Native American who was teaching his grandchildren about life:

“A fight is going on inside of me It is a terrible fight, and it is between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, pride and superiority. The other wolf stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.

This same fight is going on inside of you and every other person too.”

The grandkids thought about it for a while and then one of them asked:

“Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee answered:

“The one I feed.”

That is, the one you give attention to.

When you react to a situation (pleasant or unpleasant) or make a some kind of choice in your life, it’s worth asking yourself what level of awareness your choice or decision comes from.

-            Does what you do or decide represent fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, pride, superiority?

-            Or is it a manifestation of joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, faith?

How you react to the situations you’re presented with defines who you are, and determines what you’ll attract next. As long as your conscious decision is to change your life for the better, you will ‘attract’ experiences to break out of the box that’s keeping you from experiencing this reality right now.

The first step in making this happen is to accept your reactions and decisions that come from the ‘heart’, from your ‘infinite awareness’, from knowing what’s right for you.

You need to be kind to yourself when you react to what you’re presented with, and not get caught in self-loathing and frustration.

In the words of Charles Swindoll:

“We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.”

So be gentle with yourself. Don’t fall into self-loathing and frustration the moment you’re faced with a challenge that doesn’t seem to match the image you had of your ‘new and improved’ life.

It’s just a stepping stone that gets you one step closer.

And since ‘energy flows where attention goes’ (meaning what you’ll manifest will depend on what you give your attention to), don’t forget to build in some fun and joy in your life.

Make way for joy, peace, love, etc… for things you like. And experience the joy intensely!

Quantum Mind PowerAsk,  it is given.” I know you have heard it a million times. You may think this is only true in stories and movies, and it will never happen to you. But I can tell you that this is a universal truth that works for everyone, including you.

Today I am going to reveal to you the real meaning of this truth, and the step by step process that you can use to live by this principle.  Before I tell you the techniques, I would like to discuss with you why this law works perfectly and why this is an absolute truth.

Scientists have been studying the human brain for centuries. They   know the anatomy of the brain very well, but they have failed to locate the place in our brain where our thoughts come from. They probably will never succeed, because thoughts come though our brain, but they are not manufactured in our brain. Where do they actually come from? They come from a pure unified mind field, where everything is manifested. Some people call this field the Universal Mind, or Cosmic Mind, some call it God, or source energy. They basically mean the same thing. It is the unified field that is the origin of thoughts, the origin of you and me, and everything in this world. We are all extensions of this field, and we are all one with the field. Think of the ocean and the waves.  When we see waves, we see millions of different patterns, and we think they are all different and separate from each other, but in essence, they are all extensions of the ocean. We are extensions of the unified field in the same sense.

Since we and the unified field or God are one, then our thoughts are God’s thoughts, our desires are God’s desires. Do you think God will fail to fulfill his own desires? Of course not. Then why should we worry about our desires? Whatever we ask, it is given.

Then the logical question is: Why am I still living a life of struggle? Why am I still experiencing anxiety and unhappiness? The answer if simple. No matter what you are experiencing now, you have invited or asked for at some point in the past. Any time you have a thought of anxiety and worry, you are asking for more of the same. We are always asking unconsciously, and most of the time, we are asking negatively.

We are living in a negative world. Most people think negatively all the time. We don’t need to blame anyone; this is the way life works. Without overcoming these negative forces, we are unable to grow; just as without overcoming the gravitational force, we could not climb up a mountain. Then the question is, how to overcome these negative forces or negative thoughts? We overcome them by replacing them with positive ones. It is easier said than done; I know very few people can do it. Over the years, I have learned some very profound and powerful techniques from the world’s best masters. These techniques are very easy to apply, but very powerful. I guarantee you, as long as you apply them, you will quickly see benefits within days, sometimes instantly!

Get your intentions clear!

In order to receive, you must first ask, and you must get clear on what to ask. We have 60,000 thoughts every day – which ones are important? And many of the thoughts are in conflict.  Imagine you have a thought of going to London, but at the same time you have another thought of going to New York. Then which one should the universe fulfill?  In fact there is no way it can fulfill either, there will be no result.  So getting clear on what to ask is the first important step.

Technique # 1: Intention writing

The first technique for getting clear on what you want is what I call intention writing.  This technique is from Brian Tracy, but I have modified it a little bit so that it works better for me. Here is what you do with this technique. Every morning when you wake up and every night before you retire, write down all the things you want in the form of intentions. And here is what it should look like.

“I intend to ….now. I accept this or something better”

If you want to have a new BMW car, you should state

“I intend to manifest a new BMW car now. I accept this or something better.”

I don’t recommend that you change the wording, because I believe this format is very powerful.

After writing down all your intentions, write these words ” please make these or something better happen in the ways that are for the highest good of me and of all concerned. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Do it exactly like I say, don’t change the words and the format. I don’t have enough space here to explain why these words are so important, but trust me, you will see your results when you use it.

Technique # 2: Make a deal with your inner CEO

This is a technique I learned from Bob Scheinfeld. Prepare a small box, and put it in a private place where only you can access it. Write your top desires on pieces of paper, and put them into the box. You have to make a deal with your higher self (or God, Bob calls it your inner CEO). The deal is, whatever you put into this box is important for you.

By using the first two techniques, you will be able to post your request to the unified field successfully.

Get connected to the unified field
Technique # 3: 15 minutes short meditation

Meditate for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening. Simply focus on your breathing, and when you find your mind wandering, bring it back to your breath. This technique will help you reconnect with the unified field, and restore your energy. The unified field works best for you when you feel the connection. This simple technique will make a huge difference in your life. Trust me on this.

The next two techniques will help you clear all your negative blocks, and work harmoniously with the field; therefore  speeding up the process of manifesting your desires.

Technique # 4: 17 seconds of flip switch

This is my favorite technique, I learned it from the legendary Dr Robert Anthony. It dramatically changed the quality of my life, and will change yours as well. Most self improvement programs fail, because they don’t work in the moment. When we have a negative feeling, we must correct it in the moment, don’t allow it to accumulate. This is exactly what flip switch does. From time to time during the day, take at least 17 seconds to think about good feelings. Think of the people or things that you feel good about, and feel grateful for. Think of anything that makes you feel good, and focus on that for 17 seconds. You can do this when you are feeling bad, so that you can feel good; you can also do it when you feel good, so that you will feel even better. I suggest you make a list of things that you feel grateful for, or things you enjoy doing. Look at that list several times during the day, and focus on it for just 17 seconds. You will see dramatic changes in your life.

Technique # 5: 3 minutes Power Pause

This is John Harricharan’s famous 3 minute power pause technique. It works like a charm. Before you do this exercise, make a deal with yourself that no matter what problem you have right now, you will leave it alone and take only 3 minutes to think about whatever you want to think. In this 3 minutes, you can think of anything.  The exercise consists of 3 steps: step one: disconnect from your problems. Once you have made the deal with yourself, this step is done. The second step is to think of how you would feel if your desires had already come true, really experience it in your mind. The third step is to say thank you, and feel grateful. These are all done within 3 minutes.

Simple? Then do it.

Trust the Process

You will find there are times when you worry about whether your desires will be fulfilled. When this happens, you must remind yourself of the truth.

Here are things I tell myself to remind me of the truth.
“The life in me is inseparably connected with all life that exists and is entirely devoted to my personal advancement”

The second script I use is from Dr Robert Anthony’s “Rapid manifestation” program

Here it goes: That which I seek is seeking me. I let go of how it will come to me and I focus on my heart’s desire. My higher self within me knows how to make it happen, so I just relax and let go. Everything that is necessary for the fulfillment of my desires is lovingly and harmoniously drawn to me. I accept this or something better.  I am ready, receptive and grateful,  and so it is.

Apply these techniques, and I guarantee you will see wonderful results within days.

These can be romantic love relationships or familial relationships or simple friendships. The Law of Attraction affects them all.

Whether you are trying to put the Law of Attraction to use in your life or not, it is always at work. You are always putting out vibrations into the universe. They are always collecting with like energies and coming back to you.

The difference when you deliberately use the Law of Attraction is that you focus on the things you want. Then, these positive things return to you. What you give your attention to is what becomes important in your life.

Once something becomes important to you, you will develop an excitement about it. That excitement will turn into a power that is greater than any you can drum up by simply repeating words about what you want. The Law of Attraction works in relationships as well as it does in anything else.

By deliberately using the Law of Attraction, you can find that special person you are looking for. One step is to determine what it is you want from a mate. Make a list. Write down strengths you would like the person to have. Write down joys you would like to share.

Once you have a more concrete idea of what you want, the universe will bring you to your mate through the Law of Attraction. This will happen through matching of frequencies. You send out the frequency of what you want. That vibration goes out and collects with other frequencies like it. In other words, it matches.

When your frequency is vibrating in concert with another frequency, it will only be a matter of time before you meet someone. The Law of Attraction will be at work. At this point, you should follow your hunches. If you have the urge to do something on a different schedule than usual, then do it. This may be how you find your mate.

Just let the Law of Attraction do its work. Continue to reaffirm in your mind the fact that the person you are looking for exists. Believe that you will find that person. Draw your attention and excitement to the subject. Things will happen.

Other relationships work on the theory of matching as well. You put out energy towards a person in your life. That energy can be for or against them. Whatever energy you send them will match whatever energy in them that is like that frequency. You will get the result you expect. This is the Law of Attraction.

If you are feeling down, the Law of Attraction will supply you with a companion in despair. As the two of you spiral down, you will be better off if you decide to let the Law of Attraction work for you instead of against you. Find ways that your frequencies can vibrate in harmony in a positive way. This will strengthen and lengthen friendships like nothing else.

Your relationships can develop into more than they ever were before. Your friendships can be deeper. You can live in harmony with your relatives. Your love interests can become life-long partners. The Law of Attraction can make it all come true.

Great Universal Laws RevolutionThe past few years, with an absolute peak in 2006 as the movie The Secret was exposed to hundreds of thousands, an ever growing number of people is slowly waking up to the knowledge that there may just be more to life than the often robot-like existence of daily routines they lead.

With movies like The Secret and What the Bleep Do We Know, and books like The Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale and the resurfacing of The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill, people increasingly realize that they can have much more success in life, if only they knew the secret that all these sources talk about.

Still, although hundreds of thousands of people have seen the movie The Secret, why are so few people living their ultimate lifestyle? Why aren’t all those people living the success they long for so bad? The success that all these movies promise them? Is there an additional secret to movies like The Secret?

The obvious answer is ‘yes’. If there weren’t, every person having seen the movie The Secret would be living the lifestyle of their dreams, would be ‘attracting’ everything they long for, and would be ‘manifesting’ everything they desire into their lives ‘without any conscious effort’.

At least, isn’t that what you would think after watching movies like The Secret?

Let me tell you what the problem is, what is also the cause of so many people still not achieving their desires and dreams, and what is also the additional ‘secret’ or ‘edge’ to the movie The Secret and others. The problem rests in a psychological phenomenon called ‘selective retention’.

In simple terms, ‘selective retention’ means that you only remember the things you want to hear. In other words, you filter out the things you’d rather not hear. Let’s relate this to the contents of movies like The Secret and other films and books with regard to this subject.

What we can agree upon is that all these movies like ‘The Secret’ and books like ‘The Attractor Factor’ are about a Universal Law called ‘The Law of Attraction’. According to the Law of Attraction, you can supposedly attract and manifest anything you want or desire into your life, based on what you focus your thoughts.

That’s the secret, according to the movie ‘The Secret’.

What I can tell you upfront is that the Law of Attraction is real, but only to an extent. There are very important nuances to its application, which movies like The Secret either don’t tell you about, or which you filter out through the psychological process of ‘selective retention’.

The actual nuances and details of the application of the Law of Attraction are a subject to be discussed at another time and another place. For now, it’s important to realize and acknowledge the one thing that most people are missing from movies like The Secret and the whole range of other products dealing with the Law of Attraction.

You see, movies and books dealing with the Law of Attraction often overemphasize the word ‘effortless’. You are led to believe that you can attract things and manifest things into your life without any conscious effort from your side.

Quite likely, ‘effortless’ is exactly what you want to hear. Who wouldn’t like to do nothing while bringing about the most profound changes? People are hardly ever satisfied with their circumstances, so they desire change.

However, although they desire change, at the same time they resist change. Sounds like a paradox, but it’s true. Because as soon as any effort is required to actually make the change they desire come about, or to overcome the resistance experienced to make that change come about, people ‘cop out’. Do you recognize that?

Maybe you do, or maybe you don’t. But that’s exactly why so many people don’t achieve any success, although they’ve seen the movie The Secret and supposedly know about the secret.

Through their ‘selective retention’, the only thing that they remember and engrain is that ‘no effort is required’, and they filter out the part that says they should actually take inspired action. As a consequence, many people think that if they just think positively and try to focus on positive emotions most of the time, everything they desire will magically manifest into their lives while they’re sitting on the couch watching movies like ‘The Secret’ and ‘What the Bleep Do We Know’.

They think suddenly some distanced relative they never heard of before in their lives, will leave them a legacy of millions of dollars while they’re eating potato chips and ice cream, as they keep on watching the movie ‘The Secret’.

Or they visualize themselves as a Scrooge McDuck-equivalent, swimming around in a pool of money. Perhaps they include the Money Bin too. And they expect a big bag of money to fall out the sky.

As a side-effect, they get bigger and unhealthier, and more and more miserable because nothing happens to make their lives better. Apparently, even a movement has come about that believes that you can apply the Law of Attraction to create a body they’ve always dreamed about. They think they’ll look lean and muscular without effort through ‘attracting’ their dream bodies by visualizing how they want to look. I kid you not.

Let’s reintroduce some common sense. Butt sitting never got anyone anywhere. The Law of Attraction that the movie The Secret and other sources are about is real, but to reap its benefits and seize its fruits, you need to know how to apply it in your life, and you need to know the nuances to its application.

You can’t just start thinking positive thoughts and feeling positive emotions and wait for all your desires to magically pop up while doing nothing. That’s the missing link to achieving your success from the knowledge of the movie ‘The Secret’ and other films and books. The true secret is ‘inspired action’.

Doing nothing doesn’t help you. You need to act. You can get clear on your intention and then go do something else to get your mind off it. It’s during those moments of ‘silence’, the moments that you’re not obsessed with what you want, that you suddenly get ideas, inspirations, hunches and so on. You must act on those inspirations.

The act of acting alone will make you turn on the switch of the Law of Attraction, so to speak. Then, through an interplay of other Universal Laws that the movie The Secret and a whole range of books on the Law of Attraction forget to mention, the Universe will start rearranging itself according to your thoughts, emotions and actions. You’ll get new ideas, meet new people, stumble upon new knowledge, and so on, all of which you can use in your actions that lead you to your envisioned goal step by step, through a chain of events.

And that’s how the changes you desire come about.

Your job is to recognize what exactly to act upon. For that, you need to know exactly how the Law of Attraction works in reality, in conjunction with other Universal Laws, and how things actually manifest into your life so you actually recognize your opportunities. There’s not a great number of other Universal Laws, only a few main Universal Laws that automatically cover all minor and subsidiary Universal Laws.

By understanding the nuances of the application of the Law of Attraction in conjunction with some few other universal principles (or Laws) as boundary conditions, you can make all your dreams come true. You just need to overcome your ‘selective retention’ and acquire the knowledge of just the few additional nuances you must understand to really achieve the things that the movie ‘The Secret’ and others talk about.

True enough, it does require some effort, but by applying these Laws correctly you make the Universe work with you, instead of against you. And as you ‘get the hang’ of this application, the conscious effort required from you will keep on decreasing.

But you’ll always need to act. Nothing is going to happen if you don’t act. That’s the additional secret to the movie ‘The Secret’. You just need to learn how to bring those inspirations about, how to recognize them, and then what to act upon.

And there are simple ways to do that.

If you’re like most people, you no doubt have. It’s a frustrating position to be in. Even though you might suspect one or more of their statements to be false, you have no proof and can’t really risk accusing them for fear of being wrong, upsetting them and making a really bad impression.

What about if you aren’t with them face-to-face and talking on the phone instead or even listening to a message they’ve left you on your answering machine? Your job, of accurately judging whether or not what they’re saying is the truth or a lie is made even harder.

You can’t look at their eyes, view their body language or use any other visual clue to help you decide on whether or not they’re trustworthy. So what CAN you do? Well, you can use natural lie detection techniques to get a good grasp on what they’re saying and, most importantly, whether it’s been made-up, twisted or is the entire truth. Let’s look at 4 ways in which people alter or change the way they speak or the words they use when they lie to you. Listen out for each one whenever you want to tell if someone is lying to you, either over the phone or face-to-face.

Sign 1: NEGATIVITY. Liars know that when they try to deceive someone they’re breaking an unspoken moral and social code – lying, to any normal, decent person – is plain wrong 99% of the time. Because what they’re saying is negative, they themselves feel a sense of negativity and cynicism, which leaks out in the words they choose to use. For example, a liar might say: ““I wasn’t there when the fire started,” instead of, “I was at home when the fire broke out.” Or “I never tell lies,” instead of, “I always tell the truth.”

Sign #2: SELF-REFERENCING. When trying to deceive others, people frequently want to psychologically distance themselves from the lie or lies they’re telling. They often do this by decreasing the amount of times they use self-referencing. For example, they might say: “That car was in the driveway. God knows how it could cause an accident at the same time.” An honest person is much more likely to not worry about referencing themselves in their statement, and might instead say: “My car was parked in my driveway. I don’t know how it could possibly have been on the road and caused an accident at the same time.”

Sign #3: VERBAL DISCLAIMERS. There’s a type of verbal deceit signal that many liars use that actually occurs before they tell you a lie, rather than during or after. They are called verbal disclaimers. They consist of sentences that precede a lie, which ‘prep’ the person who’s about to be deceived in an attempt to lessen the chance of them suspecting dishonesty or becoming suspicious of the liar’s claims. For example, saying things like: “I know you probably won’t believe this…” And “I can assure you…”

Sign #4: SPEECH SPEED. Because of the complicated mental task of constructing a lie and the equally tricky task of expressing it in words convincingly, liars often unknowingly slow down their speech speed to help their brains cope. As well as slowing down the speed at which they talk to give themselves extra time to think up what they’re going to next, liars also do it because they know that speaking more slowly gives their statements more weight. It also allows the person or people listening to take in everything the liar’s saying, which decreases the chances of them asking further questions, thereby lessening the chance of the liar being caught out.

There you have it: 4 verbal signs you can spot to ascertain whether or not someone is lying to you. The great thing about knowing these 4 signs, and the dozens of other signs and pieces of info we haven’t covered here, is that 99.999% of people HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM and cannot therefore try to avoid exhibiting them to keep up their con.

Binaural Beats are Not a passing fad, but have been researched for over 170 years. The human brain goes through many frequency cycles every day, each frequency producing different effects in the human consciousness. History Of Binaural Beats

Everyone seems to strive to be ‘successful’ in life. We all look to apply the Law of Attraction to gain succes.

But what is success? What makes you successful, and what makes you a failure?

To answer this question, let’s first take a look at our world. Our societies are completely focused on our five senses of seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and smelling. Our five senses are constantly stimulated. They are enticed and exploited all the time.

It is therefore no surprise that we tend to focus our minds on materialism 24 hours per day. We tend to focus all the time on big cars, big houses, lots of money in the bank, and so on.

There is nothing wrong with that in itself. Neither does this mean that being ‘spiritual’ equals being poor and living in a dump. That doesn’t make sense either. The problem is not with the ‘material’ objects themselves. I’ll get back to this later.

First, I’d like to know this… So many people want to ‘attract a new car’. But what is it with cars anyway? Somehow the car has become a symbol of status, of ‘success’. I know a number of people (even some well-known ones) who are so obsessed with their cars; they even give names to their car.

A friend of mine had a car and was really proud of it. He called this car ‘Infinity’. Another friend of mine doesn’t care the least bit about what kind of car he drives. Still, he needed to buy a car the other day to be able drive to work. But because he didn’t really care about it, he simply bought the first set of wheels that he liked even just a bit and of which he thought the price was right for him. “If I can drive to work and back with it, then that’s a great car for me”, he thought.

He bought himself a pretty old car to be honest. It certainly didn’t look that fancy. The other friend would have dubbed it a piece of junk. But this guy couldn’t care less. In fact, he could see the fun of it. In response to my other friend who called his car ‘Infinity’, this guy decided to give his car a name too. He called it ‘Finity’.

I kid you not, this is a true story. What it illustrates is the relativity of ‘status’ and ‘success’. What one person would consider being dignified, could be considered by the next person as pathetic.

Like I said, the trap is not with material objects themselves. These are just frequency patterns anyway. The problem comes when we see those objects as the ultimate goals and the very symbols of success that confirm whether we ‘made it’ in life or not.

It is for this reason that many people look to others to confirm to themselves if they are ‘doing well’ or if they are ‘successful’. When you don’t succeed in terms of big houses, big cars, big money, you are often considered as a ‘failure’, and often consider yourself as such.

The whole system thrives on consumption and the constant expansion of consumption, and the more we consume, the more we are considered to be ‘successful’. This even leads to many people borrowing more of what they don’t have and getting in even deeper trouble, simply to provide themselves the very things that should testify to others of their alleged ‘success’.

So is this the kind of ‘success’ you are looking for?

What if I told you that the real success you are looking for is not having all kinds of material stuff, but is actually called ‘happiness’?

After all, why would you want a lot of money, or a big house, or a big car? Why would you want others to approve of you? In the end it all comes down to a desire for a sense of security and happiness, and being able to live life on your own terms. The quest ends when you’re happy and fulfilled.

But when are you happy and fulfilled?

Here’s a hint from what a wise man once said:

“Money and fame do not happiness make.”

Don’t get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with having a lot of money, or being well-known, or having big cars and big houses. These are all thought fields and are just experience. The problem is that so many people get absorbed in pursuing the material ‘dream’ that they forget about why they are doing that in the first place.

I believe it was John Harricharan who said this:

“Most people are so busy trying to make a living, they forget to make a life.”

He’s right. Most people are ‘human doings’ instead of ‘human beings’.

The funny thing is that the greatest payoff from trying to get what you want through working with the ‘Law of Attraction’ comes from a state of being. It is a state of happiness, contentment and love and gratitude for what IS that gets you what you truly want.

At any rate, the greatest payoff from your attraction efforts does certainly not come from an obsession with ever more material stuff in the merry-go-round that gets faster by the day, for the sole reason to seek approval and confirmation of your ‘success’ from others, in order to compensate for a lack of self-esteem that is the cause of this obsession to begin wit

A sense of security, self-esteem and ‘success’ is found within yourself, not outside.

And the funny thing is that once you give up the obsession with possession and finally acknowledge your true self, the person who you really are deep inside, you seem to manifest what you want much more easily.

When that happens, you can enjoy all kinds of material stuff as much as you like, if that’s what you choose. You can choose to have a big car if you like. You can choose to live in a big house if that’s what you want.

The difference is that you won’t be controlled by the never-ending pursuit of these things. You won’t be ‘on the path to happiness and success’ anymore. You would just BE happy instead, and from there you will allow things to manifest instead of chasing them forever. It’s a small difference in perception, but with profound effects.

It is then that you will start to live life, instead of life living you.

So what is ‘success’?

Success, my friend, is what you define it to be.

Now go manifest your success, whatever that is for you!

Mind-UniverseBiomedical researcher Robert Lanza has been on the frontier of cloning and stem cell studies for more than a decade, so he’s well-acclimated to controversy. But his book “Biocentrism” is generating controversy on a different plane by arguing that our consciousness plays a central role in creating the cosmos.

By treating space and time as physical things, science picks a completely wrong starting point for understanding the world, Lanza declares.

Any claim that space and time aren’t cold, hard, physical things has to raise an eyebrow. Some of the reactions to Lanza’s ideas, first set forth two years ago in an essay for The American Scholar, brand them as “pseudo-scientific philosophical claptrap” or “no better than any religion.”

Lanza admits that the reviews haven’t all been glowing, particularly among some physicists. “Their response has been much how you’d expect priests to respond to stem cell research,” he told me Monday.

Other physicists, however, point out that Lanza’s view is fully in line with the perspective from quantum mechanics that the observer plays a huge role in how reality is observed.

“So what Lanza says in this book is not new,” Richard Conn Henry, a physics and astronomy professor at Johns Hopkins University, said in a book review. “Then why does Robert have to say it at all? It is because we, the physicists, do not say it – or if we do say it, we only whisper it, and in private – furiously blushing as we mouth the words. True, yes; politically correct, hell no!”

The weird twists in our view of the cosmos are hinted at in the scientific speculation over quantum teleportation, experiments in reverse-time causation, the idea that time has no independent existence, and physicist Stephen Hawkings’ suggestion that the universe as we know it is generated through quantum interference involving all possible universes.

Lanza and his co-author, Astronomer/Columnist Bob Berman, try to assemble all those weird little twists into a larger theory.

The authors contend that their view of the cosmos can help resolve all the head-scratching over unifying the fundamental forces, or coming up with a “theory of everything” that covers the submicroscopic world of quantum effects as well as the grand workings of gravity.

There are potential pitfalls, of course. If you merely accept that reality works the way it does because that’s how our senses and neurons are structured to perceive it, you could run the risk of shrugging off the search for deeper, truer descriptions of that reality.

One route would be to write off the still-mysterious aspects of our universe (e.g., what dark energy is, or how consciousness arises) as an expression of the anthropic principle. In effect, you’re saying, “It’s that way just because if it weren’t, we wouldn’t be here to observe it.” Another route would be embracing intelligent design (“God did it”).

Neither of those routes can be navigated very well using the scientific method, and Lanza and Berman point that out in their book. However, they don’t lay out a detailed road map showing how a “biocentric” view of the universe might affect the course of science – other than to say that neuroscience needs more attention and string theory needs less.

Theoretically, one avenue might be to study how our brain organizes the incoming electrical impulses to create the matrix beyond – and tweak that circuitry in different ways. “With a little genetic engineering, you could probably make anything that’s red move, or make a noise instead, or even make you feel hungry or want to have sex,” Lanza said.

Lanza acknowledges that the step-by-step, objective approach to solving scientific puzzlers is still the way to go when you’re focusing on a specific research project, such as turning the medical promise of embryonic stem cells into reality. He knows he’s not making all this up.

“Day to day, yes, I can put x number of ml [milliliters] in a Petri dish, and I can predict exactly what the behavior is going to be,” he told me.

But Lanza said quantum effects as basic as the two-slit experiment tell us that there’s more to life, the universe and everything than milliliters of solution in a dish. “We have this way that we think of space and time on the street. It’s day to day, paying your bills,” Lanza said. “But when you look at these experiments, that’s not what they’re telling us. In fact, they’re telling us quite the reverse.”

You can engage in a bit of self-talk if it helps; say something like, “There’s no point worrying about something I can’t control, so I’m going to focus on something that makes me feel good.” Then spend time on unrelated activities, or find a way to feel better about your financial situation.

2) Secondly, begin directing more positive emotions toward your financial situation.
Even if you have to engage in a bit of fantasizing in order to do so, you need to get some positive emotions flowing to attract more abundance. There are many ways to do this, but one that works well is to keep affirming, “I always have more than enough money for everything I need.” Just keep saying it over and over again, allowing yourself to feel confident and happy that your financial needs are being met.

This is also a good thing to do when you notice you’re starting to feel worried or frightened about not having enough money. Immediately turn the focus around and say, “I ALWAYS have more than enough money for EVERYTHING I need.” (Say it with power and conviction in your voice, and really believe that it is so.) As you begin shifting your focus from negative emotions to positive emotions every day, you should start to notice your financial situation shifting to a better place also.

You might receive an unexpected check in the mail, you might get a bonus or pay raise at work, or you may even notice you’re starting to receive unexpected gifts or discounts. These are great signs that it’s working! Keep replacing negative emotions with positive as often as possible and you’ll keep the good energy flowing – which will keep inspiring greater and greater change in your life.
